If so, we would like to talk to you… We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work with students enrolled on our BTEC Sport courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3. This role involves supporting students with varying needs in the classroom including those on an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) and with SEND. You will work within the class, ensuring students receive the individual support needed to succeed academically, holistically, and personally. Your Main Responsibilities:· Assisting a lecturer within BTEC Level 1/2/3 Sport lessons.· Help students achieve their EHCP goals by implementing specific strategies and interventions outlined in the plan· Guiding students through assessments, providing feedback, and helping them meet their target grades.· Supporting a lecturer to monitor student progress, attendance, and behaviour, implementing interventions where necessary.· Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student outcomes.· Providing pastoral support to promote student wellbeing and adhering to safeguarding protocols.
