As we continue to expand, we鈥檙e looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Logistics Executive to join our team on a full-time basis.If you鈥檙e practical, organised, have a strong passion for running, and want hands-on experience in the events industry, this could be the perfect role for you.ResponsibilitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a career in logistics and events who wants real, hands-on experience in live events logistics. You鈥檒l work closely with our experienced logistics team, learning how large-scale events are planned, set up and delivered from start to finish.You鈥檒l be based primarily at our warehouse in Hersham, with regular travel to events across London and the South; combining a mixture of responsibilities from preparing equipment, organising vans, event setup and delivery - helping to bring an event to life.Main Duties and Responsibilities- Assisting in event preparation; packing and testing equipment for weekly events.- Regular stock taking, ordering new equipment and product, receiving deliveries and maintaining equipment/vehicles.- Checking venues and courses pre-event for any potential hazards.- Assisting course team in race route set up; positioning signage, cones, dropping off course marshals, water stations etc.- Lead cycling for events; guiding the runners around the course and checking for any issues that need to be addressed.- Debriefing after events, analysing areas to improve and how to do so in weekly team meetings.Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working in live events, an interest in running, and be a fast learner. They will work well as part of a team at events, as well as working alone at the warehouse.
